Announcing PASMA 2008 AGM   

PASMA's Annual General meeting will be held on the 15th July 2008 at the Moxhul Hall Hotel Sutton Coldfield, just off the A446, one mile north of the Belfry Golf Course and a short drive from Birmingham International Airport. Please click the link for a detailed map Moxhull Hall MAP.pdf

SAFETY & HEALTH EXPO 13 - 15 MAY 2008

PASMA once again participated in the SAFETY & HEALTH EXPO, the main showcase for the Access Indusry Forum (AIF), the umbrella organisation representing the principal trade bodies and associations connected with working at height. 

Rather than a formal conference, the Forum opted to run a Work at Height Seminar Theatre. For more click here


Using professional actors and taking as its theme the "Shattered Lives" campaign, the Forum acted out a number of different scenarios designed to reinforce the central message of the campaign:  “Don't chance it…change it.”  For more click here

Forum members pulled out all the stops to provide visitors with practical help and advice connected with working at height as it continues its drive to improve safety and standards in the fast growing access sector.   For more click here


PASMA Regional Workshops

You will be pleased to hear that PASMA has organised a se
ries of Regional Workshops which, although not mandatory, are strongly recommended and what's more they are FREE.  The aim of the workshops is to introduce the revised Training Scheme Procedures Manual and documents following the consultation period.  The workshops will also cover topics such as Continuing Professional Development (CPD), online registration, Audit team - unannounced visits, and how PASMA plans to move forward.  For more click here

PASMA and the HSE:
Working at Height..
Working Together!


Focusing on competency and running from now until the end of March 2008, the HSE's 'Shattered Lives' campaign is intended to highlight the range of skills and knowledge that an HSE or Local Authority inspector looks for when assessing competency in the workplace.
